We are delighted that once again we are able to offer the opportunity on Sunday 10th September 2017 to cycle on this lovely local island that cannot normally be entered without a special pass. New for 2017, we return to Cupids Country Club, Cupids Chase, Great Wakering SS3 0AX for the start. The ride will now take place entirely on private roads making it what is probably the safest and friendliest bike ride in existence. Following on from the fundraising success in 2016, we continue with the entrants choosing the charity they wish to support. When you complete your application you will be asked to select a charity from a drop down box. Although there are over 700 charities listed, if your favourite charity is not shown, please email rotary.ride@sky.com with the full name and charity number of the charity that you wish to support and we will get it added. Enjoy refreshments at Cupids Country Club where the ride starts and we hope that you will visit the Heritage Centre in the former Foulness Church of England Primary School built in 1846. Developed and run by the local residents it contains many fascinating exhibits showing the history of life in this timeless corner of Essex. Refreshments will also be available at the Heritage Centre and at Churchend Post Office Store.
